What data we process

The data you send us when you write or call: name, company, contact details and the content of your enquiry. When you use the contact form, your data is sent encrypted to our server and forwarded by email to our company mailbox: the website does not keep it in a database. To protect the form from abuse we keep an encrypted fingerprint (hash) of your IP address for one hour.

Purposes and legal basis

Answering your enquiries and managing negotiations and business relationships (Art. 6.1.b GDPR); complying with legal obligations such as tax and accounting (Art. 6.1.c); protecting our rights (Art. 6.1.f).

Retention

For as long as needed to handle your enquiry. If a business relationship follows, for its duration and for the periods required by law for accounting and tax records.

Recipients

Technical service providers (hosting and email) and advisors, appointed as processors where required. We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for marketing.

Cookies

This website uses no profiling cookies and no analytics tools. Fonts and images are hosted on our own server, with no calls to third-party services while you browse.

On the Contact page only, the form is protected by hCaptcha (Intuition Machines, Inc.), which checks that the submission comes from a person and may use technical cookies required for the check, under its own privacy policy (hcaptcha.com/privacy).

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, and object to processing (Arts. 15-22 GDPR), by writing to info@merlisfam.it. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
